I booked an impromptu flight to #Toronto for #springbreak thinking it would be a solo trip. But I was most graciously hosted by Uncle Jiehui and Aunty Karen, my parents' old friends, and met friends old and new: former Sergeant Richard, the effervescent Kathy, Justin from years back, Louis from high school, and Joe from a conference many years ago. Thank you all for your warmth, this is an ode to you. Also, uni at #columbiauniversity can be hard! Having accepted that I wanted to both enjoy myself and work on my tasks, I spent parts of my day working on an essay, with some success at the end.
